Move for Hunger™

Wheaton is a founding partner in an organization called Move for Hunger™ that collects unwanted non-perishables from moving customers and brings it to local food banks.

Founded by an enterprising Wheaton agent, more partner brand agents are participating in the program every day. The partnership with Move for Hunger™ has been a valuable public relations tool for agents and the van line.

Give Kids The World

Wheaton | Bekins is a proud corporate sponsor of Give Kids The World, a non-profit organization that helps create memories for children with life-threatening illnesses by bringing them to a special resort in Orlando. Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Tissue Bank at the IU Simon Cancer Center

Wheaton | Bekins transports the Susan G. Komen for the Cure® Tissue Bank at the IU Simon Cancer Center to tissue collection events around the country.

The Tissue Bank, which operates independently from the Susan G. Komen for the Cure®, collects blood and breast tissue from women nationally and makes it available for researchers. The van line has made a commitment to support the Tissue Bank in its efforts to help cure and eradicate breast cancer.
